For five years, I was a stripper and sex worker, searching for love in all the wrong places and trying to fill a void in my heart with people, attention, money, drugs, and alcohol. I ended up with a pimp along the way, and the life I thought would make me happy and fulfill me only left me more broken and empty. I kept chasing temporary pleasures, and doing things to numb the way I felt, but nothing could fill what was missing inside of me.

Then in 2020, the pandemic hit and the clubs shut down. In the stillness, I felt God pulling on my heart and showing me that I was made for more. I realized I had been searching everywhere for what only God could give me. By the end of that year, I made the decision to walk away from that lifestyle. I didn't have everything figured out, but I knew I couldn't go back.

I found that true riches are in Christ and in having a relationship with him. God met me in my brokenness, showed me what real love is, and proved that his grace is sufficient. Today I am living proof that you are never too far gone for God. I have found peace, healing, and freedom in Jesus Christ.
